How do you create a custom Studio Ghibli-style animation from scratch...when you're not an animator?

Boss: “Hey, I know we said we weren’t doing our annual sales conference this year. I changed my mind—it’s back on, and we're doing it in Chicago. You’ve got four weeks to plan the opener.”
Me: *Chokes on drink*
Me: “We usually pull this off with three to four months’ notice. The opener will have to be slimmed down quite a bit. Plus, there’s the whole ‘I live in Idaho’ thing now…so actually shooting something is kinda out of the question.”
Boss: “No worries—you can probably do something with AI. Let me know how it goes…”

Solution: we turned everyone into cartoons and added a super hyped-up soundtrack. Sounds easy, right? It wasn’t! 😂
